Using Strengths

Sometimes it's very easy for all of us to get caught up in the negative behaviors or attributes of others, let alone our own children. When this happens, and even when it doesn't, try to put things into perspective. Try to think about the qualities and actions that make your child special, unique, and completely lovable!

A great resource to better help identify personal strengths from a unique perspective is at www.kolbe.com.

Kathy Kolbe has developed amazing tools to help us better understand our innate abilities and what we will and won't do. She even has an index geared for children. It does cost about $40, but it is well worth it!
